About Me
My Background
I have an MA in Sociology and I have completed Postgraduate Studies in Coaching (with distinction) at Tischner European University in Krakow. Before I became a coach, I worked in PR and HR in Krakow and Dublin. During that time I realised that what I enjoy most about my work is supporting people in their professional development. I also wanted to help others to improve different areas of their lives and that’s why I decided to become a coach. I chose coaching because of its approach to people as naturally creative and resourceful which empowers them to live the life they desire.
As a Coach:
I’m open-minded, a good listener and an optimist who inspires people to make positive changes in their lives. At the coaching sessions I create a friendly and safe atmosphere to let my clients focus on their priorities. I help my clients to realise their true values and desires and I make them aware of their potential and possibilities. I also support them while looking for the best solutions and creative ideas to achieve their goals. I always make sure that they leave our meetings with a specific goal, an effective action plan and the motivation to make it reality.
Coaching Schedule
1. Coaching process begins with the introduction session during which we get to know each other and we clarify what subjects we should work on. The first session is always for free and after that you can decide whether you wish to continue coaching with me.
2. If you decide to cooperate with me, I will send you some coaching forms to fill out before our next meeting. That will allow you to reflect on your current situation and determine what you expect from coaching as well as to prepare for the next session. You will also receive the coaching agreement which incorporates the principles and provisions of our future cooperation.
3. The coaching sessions will be held on a regular basis, according to the scheme we will establish. Generally coaching sessions last 45 min – 1 hrs and the meetings take place from a month up to four times a month. Depending on the subject, the coaching process can take 3 - 12 months.
My Definition of Coaching
Coaching is based on the coach – client relationship that empowers the client to establish and achieve his most important goals by introducing appropriate changes to the desired areas of life. The corner stone of coaching is that every person possesses the potential to achieve his/her aims. Working with powerful questions and useful coaching tools, a coach enables the client to discover his most significant needs and to use his potential in order to achieve the ideal outcome.Coaching is established on the belief that the most suitable decisions and clues come from ourselves, as we know best what works for us. Thus, the coach doesn’t give you any advice nor provides remedies to your issues but inspires you to generate solutions independently and helps you to develop new strategies and skills.
