Bernard is a qualified and accredited Executive/Leadership Coach with a deep experience of driving customer-centric business change strategies and international cross-cultural operations management. Bernard’s background includes 18 years in the IT sector with global Fortune 500 firms, reaching board level, where he executed in strategic sales, and operational collaborative leadership roles throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This period led him to reside in seven countries on three continents (Europe, Asia, and USA) where he commanded a proven track record in Pan-European channel sales, operations design and development with excellent project and influencing skills and the ability to drive change and influence cross functionally.
An emphasis on practical applications of cultural diversity and responding to market contexts makes him a resource for leadership, team and culture development, change management and organisational analysis and design.
Bernard is currently a co-director and owner of Xenergie Consulting Ltd, where his main task, apart from coaching during the last 8 years, involves the business development and day-to-day responsibility of the firm.
Bernard's expertise is in developing customer-centric organizations through Executive Leadership and Team Performance coaching and consulting.  He shoulders senior executives stepping-up the leadership pipeline transitioning from task leadership to process leadership in creating the emerging future and raises the level of consciousness of organisations by building sustainable corporate cultures.
He has a successful record of accomplishment in coaching numerous International Senior Executive Team/Board Directors, particularly in the financial services and bio-pharmaceutical industries. Some of his clients include General Electric (GE), Hertz Europe, Boston Scientific Ireland Ltd, Olympus Life Science Research Europa GmbH, Beckman Coulter and Pfizer Ireland Pharmaceuticals.
An associate of major global coaching consultancies working across Europe and the US, Bernard, has written numerous white papers in the Executive Coaching field and delivered keynote speeches at L&D forums with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Bernard holds a MA in Human Resource Management from the NCI, Dublin (2004) with a thesis on coaching and the impact on leadership effectiveness, a Master's Business degree from ESLSCA, Paris (1986) and a Certificate in Psychology & Counselling (IACP - 2007).
He is a certified NLP business and licensed Master NLP practitioner with the Society of NLP, qualified and Certified Executive coach with Lore, Master Trainer with Belbin Associates UK and holds the PCC credentials with the International Coach Federation (ICF). He completed The European NLP Coaching Certification Training with ITS, an accredited training provider with the International Coach Federation,  in London, UK (April 2008).
Bernard is bilingual in French and English (French national) and resides in Oranmore Co Galway, Ireland and the UK (Oxford).
